Today marked the grand conclusion of the Fourth Synod of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, a significant spiritual and administrative gathering that brought together the clergy, religious, and lay faithful of the diocese. The closing Mass was a moment of profound grace, highlighted by the ordination of fourteen (14) Deacons to the sacred Order of Priesthood, a ceremony presided over by the Papal Nuncio to Nigeria. It was a joyous and historic moment for the diocesan family

as the Church welcomed new labourers into the vineyard of Christ.

The Seminary Hostel family was fully present and actively participated in the liturgical celebrations. During the closing remarks, the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. C. V. C. Onaga, expressed profound gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the Synod. He appreciated the Seminary for participating actively throughout the sessions and for helping to enrich the liturgy with our voices. His words were both encouraging and inspiring, reaffirming the vital role of the seminary in the life of the Church

The event ended on a joyful and hopeful note, as the entire diocesan family departed strengthened in faith, united in purpose, and renewed in commitment to the mission of Christ. It was a truly memorable day—one that will remain in the hearts of all who witnessed it.
